Study Structure

The Executive MBA with focus on International Marketing is modularly structured and takes four semesters plus Master Thesis. It comprises three modules:

  • General Management (1st and 2nd semester in English or German) detailed description 
  • Specialization in International Management (3rd semester, 6 months) detailed description
  • International Marketing (4th semester, 6 months + Master Thesis)
    The Master Thesis will be written after the course modules and takes 16 weeks. 

Specialization International Marketing

  • Global Marketing in a Changing world
    Grasping the implications of the dramatic shifts which are taking place in world markets, exploring the marketing implications for European companies (B2B/B2C).
  • Services Marketing in a Global Arena
    Gaining understanding of services marketing in general and to explore the particular complexities of services marketing in the global arena.
  • Global Branding Building
    Reinforcing the understanding of branding and brand management and apply this knowledge to the building of brand values in a rapidly changing context.
  • Global Marketing Research and the Use of Digital Marketing
    Mastering the world of marketing research and digital marketing, and exploring the application of each within the particular context of global markets/competition
  • Making Marketing Work
    Bringing the different strands of the course modules together into a coherent whole with an emphasis on turning radical ideas into practical reality through implementation

Admission requirements

  • Graduation from a university, university of applied sciences or higher national diploma course.

  • At least two years’ business experience since attainment of highest previous degree.
  • Candidates have at least an officially recognized English certificate on European level B2 or have successfully passed the free PHW English admisstion test
